Internal dry reforming (IDR) of methane for biogas-fed solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) applications has been experimentally investigated on planar Ni-GDC (cermet anode) electrolyte-supported cells. This study focuses the effect CO2 concentration, current density, operating temperature, and residence time internal reforming. A single is fed with different CH4/CO2 mixture ratios between 0.6 1.5. Extra recovered from carbon capture plants can be utilized here as a agent. The I-V characterization curves are recorded at conditions in order to determine best electrochemical performance while power production maximized, deposition suppressed. outlet gas anode analyzed by micro chromatograph investigate conversion inside channel understand its influence performance. Relatively long-term experiments have performed all mixtures 850°C under density 2000 m?2. results indicate that when biogas an equimolar amount CH4 CO2, prevented, maximum obtained.
